Simply Tulips Centerpiece
You are going to be amazed at how simple and cheap this centerpiece is to put together. The focal point of this elegant arrangement is going to be a 10”H x 5”W clear round vase (we do sell upon request). Make sure the vase is clean. Take your Aspidistra leaves and wrap them inside around the bottom of the vase. Depending on the size o f your leaves (width and length) you may need 2-4 leaves per vase, they are typically 2” thick and 10” long. The number of leaves you use is also up to your personal style.
Add 1" - 2” of water followed by 8 of your 11 tulips (this article coordinates with our Wedding Flowers Under $1000 Series). Because the tulip naturally bends, you want to make sure your tulips are trimmed and about 1” shorter than the top of the vase. Standard tulips average 11” in height. Add 6 curly willow branches. You may also have to trim the curly willow to a manageable height.
Around the vase, place six votives. Alternate each votive with a tulip head and a candle. Cut each tulip head leaving about ¼” of the stem, adding water to the votive holder to keep the tulip fresh.
